When some of my friends found out that I am a vegan, they were concerned about how I would get my nutrition. "How do you get your protein?" This is one of the questions many vegetarians and vegans get so often. Another question "How do you get your calcium when you don't eat dairy products?"
To answer the protein question, we can usually reply "tofu!", but besides tofu and soy products, there is also a wide variety of other plant foods providing protein besides meat. You can find rich sources of protein from the legume, nuts and seeds families of plant foods. You can find some of the protein-rich foods in the 2 links I provided below.
Also contained in the 2 links are sources of food where you can get your minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Your list 1 and 2 for vegan nutrition don't print out. Could this be fixed?
Hi Anonymous,
I am afraid I have no idea how to, perhaps you can send me an email, I will send you a printable version. Thanks.
yah i really want copies also but i cant print them....
Hi anonymous,
Can you send me an email? I don't have your email so I can't send you the copy.
I am concerned about B12. I took Flax seeds supplements for omega 3. I also eat figs for calcium. I am still comfortable for being a Vegan. I am supposed we can always find a way. Good luck!
