Mayor Merlin Milner decide to have a vegetarian function and some farmers stayed away because the meal is vegetarian. I find it quite amusing that one of the farmers mentioned that meat-eaters were not offered a meat option at the function. Vegetarians need an option because they can't eat meat. Meat eaters don't, because it doesn't mean they will starve when there's no meat around, they can eat vegetarian food too. It's disappointing that some of the farmers will not even eat 1 vegetarian meal and not show any tolerance for the mayor's choice.
