Vegan cookbook to help a person with cancer

I received an email from Kristin Burke about a vegan cookbook she has written to help her friend with cancer. Her good friend John, is now battling pancreatic cancer at just 45 years old. Kristin decided to visit him and cook him a freezer full of food for his ill health. Learning that John was put on a vegan diet by his wife, Kristin made over 100 individually packaged vegan meals, three gallons of soup and two loaves of bread in two days. With all these dishes cooked, she decided they might be good for a vegan cookbook.
The vegan cookbook contains over 50 vegan recipes, and all proceeds from the sale of this book go directly to John and his wife to help defray medical expenses. The book is called "I wanna be your vegan", inspired from Iggy Pop and the Stooges' "I Wanna Be Your Dog". The book is available exclusively through BLURB. Click here to buy.

I’m so sorry for Kristin’s friend. My grandpa died of lung cancer when I was little so I know what it’s like to have a friend who is trying to get better. I think her cookbook idea was great and I’m definitely going to buy it.
