Halloween is coming, though we don't really celebrate halloween in Singapore. The only "ghost-related" kind of "celebration" is held in the 7th lunar month, besides, it would be too expensive and environmentally unfriendly for us to import too many pumpkins for carving.
Anyway, I was surprised to find this video shoot of this game call Hugo's house of horrors on you tube. As a big fan of abandonware (those old DOS interface kind of games such as Prince of Persia v1.0) for a period of time, I have played this game before and certainly enjoyed it. In this game, you play as this guy who is trying to rescue his girlfriend Penelope from this house of monsters. This game has nothing to do with vegetarianism, but the author has cleverly put it in such a way it looks like the monsters are anti-meatarian. Take a look.
What's the real game story then?
Basically, you will come to this stage where you have to go to the dining room where monsters are having their meal. To pass this stage, you have to get an item before the monsters will recognise you as one or their own. Without that item, you will be killed when you say you want a meat chop.
